Inlight is a forerunner in providing color digitalization solutions worldwide. We design the physical structure of materials with different chemical compositions (inorganic, organic or metal) in the micro-and nano scale by using intelligent algorithms, and rearrange them with novel manufacturing processes, so as to control visible light and realize different colors featuring various functions. Many factors are considered in the material selections and structural color designs, such as temperature tolerance, electrical conductivity, electromagnetic compatibility, acid/alkali resistance, light transmittance, edibility, stability, etc., thus achieving the unique functionality and engineering applicability of the color pigment products. They can be efficiently designed, repeated and delivered in a digital way. The interaction between micro/nano physical structure and incoming light, such as scattering, interference, diffraction and so on, results in color, namely structural color. The core technology of the Inlight's structural color pigment products comes from the research group at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA. Their research findings have been continuously reported by the MIT Technology Review and NBC. With a number of invention patents globally, Inlight is at the forefront of nano industry applications. Structural color is not only of high esthetic value, but also a more environmental friendly and stable way of presenting color, with excellent weather fastness, special functionality, and a wide range of applications. The structural color pigments are products that can strengthen and complement the entire industrial chain. They have been applied in different fields such as automobile coating, highly efficient decorative BIPV, cosmetics and so on.
